FIMMA BRASIL 2025 - International Trade Show for Wood and Furniture Suppliers

Held together in 2022 and 2023 as a strategy to optimize the furniture sector's event calendar, the Movelsul Brasil and Fimma Brasil fairs will once again take place separately in 2025, traditionally at the Parque de Eventos de Bento Gonçalves (RS). To reach this decision, the entities organizing the fairs – Sindmóveis and Movergs, respectively – considered criteria such as the relevance of the fairs in the current market scenario, sector demands and the opportunity to expand both events. From August 4th to 7th, 2025, Fimma Brasil will occupy the pavilions of the Bento Gonçalves Events Park. For the president of the Furniture Industry Association of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Movergs), Euclides Longhi, this will be an opportunity to resume the growth of the fair. “Fimma brings together the main suppliers of the furniture chain, but we understand that it is possible to expand the presence of exhibitors of machines, raw materials, tools, hardware, technology and several other segments that make up the sector. Everything at the fair is designed to offer opportunities for innovation, knowledge, competitiveness, good contacts and, of course, great business,” he highlights. Fimma Brasil's Innovation Ecosystem space and the presence of importers from target countries remain as pillars of the event. Movelsul Brasil will be held a few months earlier: it is scheduled for February 17 to 20, 2025. The president of the Bento Gonçalves Furniture Industries Union (Sindmóveis), Gisele Dalla Costa, explains that the main objective will be to increase the diversity of exhibitors and segments. “Movelsul is a reference in Latin America for shopkeepers, retailers and importers, especially in serial furniture, upholstery and mattresses. We want to offer an even more complete event for generating business, reinforcing the presence of traditional brands and bringing in new exhibitors,” she says. “The fair will continue with established projects, such as the Salão Design Award exhibition, lectures and international business rounds”, says Gisele. BUSINESS WITH DIFFERENT ACCENTS Business opportunities with the foreign market are strong features of the Fimma Brasil and Movelsul Brasil fairs – and 2025 will be no different. The Brazilian furniture chain has great export potential for all continents on the planet and the Fimma and Movelsul fairs are aligned with the sector's main international events. Therefore, the organization is now studying target markets to bring in strategic importers according to the profile of exhibitors at each fair.
