Committed since 2017 to a global reflection aimed at making the Atlantica show an eco-responsible event , the organizing committee has decided to go even further this year, by surrounding itself with specialized skills and partners and by remaining attentive to the latest recommendations in this area. Here are some examples of concrete actions resulting from the eco-responsible program supported and implemented by the organizing committee: Atlantica eco responsible The organization Policy for purchasing eco-responsible supplies; Implementation of bus shuttles serving the Niort urban area and the Atlantica exhibition. This year, the Atlantica trade fair is committed to the ISO 20121 certification process with AFNOR. Waste Management Creation of a reuse zone at the show for Niort associations; Delivery of furniture without packaging by Lign'Expo and reuse for the following year; Reuse and rental of furniture; “Second life” policy for the carpet used in the living room ; Short circuit supply; Systematic implementation of selective sorting in the aisles of the show; Collection of compostable bio-waste, oyster shells and cork stoppers in catering areas; Over-sorting carried out at the show; Setting up collectors dedicated to the recovery and recycling of bottles in order to give them a second life; Installation of water fountains to avoid the use of single-use bottles; Collection and use of water from stands presenting spas; Zero waste in terms of paper, printing, etc.; Compostable hemp cases and recycled fiber bags made in France for exhibitors and visitors.
