Within the Seagriculture USA 2024 program, we are preparing a series of site visits that will allow you to learn more not only about seaweed farming in Alaska but also see the unsurpassed beauty of the region! All site visits will take place on 10 September 2024. Please take it into account during the planning of your stay in Alaska. More information will follow soon. The fastest and most convenient way to reach Ketchikan is by flying. Ketchikan International Airport (KTN) is served by several major airlines and regional carriers. Major airlines such as Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines offer direct 90 minutes flights to Ketchikan from Seattle. These airlines often provide multiple daily flights, allowing for flexibility in travel times. If you are traveling from a location outside of Alaska, you may need to take a connecting flight. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is a major airport that serves as a common connecting hub for flights to Ketchikan. It's recommended to book your flights in advance, especially during peak travel seasons. Prices and availability can vary, so it's best to check with airlines or online travel agencies to find the most suitable options for your travel dates.
